Maintaining relationships with our customers is at the heart of our business and we have a planning and management style that is consultative and systematic. This company works aiming at the complete solution of building materials and services. It has wider approach of corporate culture and operations than its competitors. We believe in a proactive approach to all aspects of our business in particular to quality, safety and delivery. By getting this right, we give our customers confidence and peace of mind during the process of planning, design and construction.

Tell us about yourself?

I am an ethnographer, archivist, historian turned an entrepreneur, business leadership consultant, supply chain specialist and trainer. I am leading the transformation of energy efficiency service providers in one of the most challenging environments in Pakistan. As CEO, I am align strategic vision with a strong understanding of local customer needs & operation requirements across the value chain- growing Ghonsla’s customer reach & sales four-fold, training & mobilizing a team of over a hundred people & effectively introducing & managing innovative product financing. I spent eight years in a Lahore based multi-national company, achieving the company’s business, social and strategic goals. During my tenure, the company has successfully tested product mix and value chain management strategies. I have trained personnel are serving in various national and international organizations and some have set up their own institutions individually.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

My advice is believing yourself and your innovations.

What problem does your business solve?

At present our business operations are going well. We have not faced any macro level of challenges. The only challenge is that we have shortage of inventory.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

I was super-motivated during the establishment of the company. Initially we had some challenges in Human Resource Management.

What is your magic sauce?

Our business idea is so unique, and that unique business is cutting edge over our competitors. We currently carry out construction services in one of the most difficult places and inhospitable conditions of the world where conditions are extremely dire. The roads and weather are extremely dangerous and harsh respectively. We provide services to the people of Hindu Kush and Himalaya. It is a promise to all our customers that we provide quality of work at all times and in all situations so that our customers will be satisfied with our work. Green Marketing is also a major service of Ghonsla Construction (Pvt) Ltd. This company is successfully achieving its annual and strategic targets every year. Since its inception, this company has not received any grant, investment or loan from any institution or person. Her success has included the love and encouragement of the people of Chitral, Gilgit and Dir. For which we are deeply grateful to them. A book has been written on this company for its success and for giving the world a unique business idea. The name of the book is “Business Without Money: A Case Study of unique business mechanism in Ghonsla Construction”. Different national and international organizations are researching this success story.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Our next 5 years plan is as followings. 1. Strengthen customer relations. 2. Introducing new product mixed. 3. More offices and warehouses to be established in Northern Pakistan. 4. Developing Mobile App 5. Expand our business operations across Pakistan. 6. Expansion our business internationally.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Our biggest challenge is managing labour in far flunked regions.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?       

We are there since 2012 to provide services under-served market of Northern Pakistan. We want to connect Amazon.
