Tell us about yourself?

I’m a self-learned programmer passionate about pushing SMEs forward by providing efficient technology and strategies where they can win the global market with less knowledge on tech. Started Code94 Labs with a dream to reach the global markets and provide talented developers and marketers based in Sri Lanka, to scale businesses in different industry verticals.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Keep being you. What you’re doing right now will be worth it. Just hold strong.

What problem does your business solve?

We solve pain points or businesses using technology. If anyone wants more exposure on digital space, we would implement strategies to build them a unique establishment online through web and social media.

If any business has a process which takes longer time, we would build custom software to make it automated and save them time.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

Mainly in Sri Lanka, although we have numerous software companies, they all focused on international markets since they are profit driven.

Our Sri Lankan companies did not get the efficient technology they require. Our goal was to start from Sri Lanka and help businesses here be more tech-enabled before we keep our foot in international markets.

What is your magic sauce?

Our UI/UX capabilities and our long lasting client partnerships are out magic. We strive make sure our work/portfolio speaks for us and attract us clients. And we retain them using our friendly partnerships.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Since we are the service business, my goal for Code94 Labs is to build our own product and somehow gain a spot in Y Combinator.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

We have run into multiple challenges. Mainly it’s talent deficiency for startups. All the big companies attract the talent, leaving us in a tough position. The next is finding clients as a startup.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

Anyone with a unique idea can partner with us and we’ll help you bring that to life using technology. And any business in any scale can reach out to us to revamp their digital presence and solve any of their problems using technology.
