Serge: Our Core Products Is Next-gen Telecom Hardware for Satellite Communication Constellations

October 8, 2022

Our core products is next-gen telecom hardware for satellite communication constellations (StarLink, Kuiper, OneWeb etc.) and upcoming 6G-cell infrastructure.

We are full-cycle development and production team with own research, testing lab and assembly facilities.

For SatCom our main product line is lasercomm terminals (FSO LCT). Here we have huge experience in precise aerospace optoelectronics and keen technology vision.

For 6G-cell our main product is optical frequency stabilisers and generators. Our team is one of pioneers who provide such ultra-precise laser optics as robust portable outdoor solution.

So, our mission is to bring significant improvement in current telecom networks bandwidth, capacity, latency etc.

Tell us about yourself?

I’m a foundeв with PhD in Optics and more than 14 years of real applied experience at the cutting edge of photonics.

All my team members also have Ms and PhD’s in math, physics etc with 5-10 years in the industry. So, we have huge backgroung, ultimate competencies and very sharp forward-looking vision of lasertechs and telecom industry.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Wuh, do not rely on advisors and investors in such ultra deep-tech areas as space lasercomm and precise applications.

What problem does your business solve?

We solve a significant growth of telecom data traffic and coverage area.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

We inspired by the idea of ultimate telecom itself. Fast, low latency, wide coverage communication all over the Earth.

What is your magic sauce?

Voxtellar team’s magic sauce is competencies + motivation + reduced costs. We use outsource experts ant test labs from rather cheap regions, so could provide cheaper products with no quality losses.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Our plan to achieve at least 5-7% LCT market. And seems we have everything for this. We already developed and tested most of our product’s critical parts, and next going to real MVP.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Biggest challenge is extremely low interest in hardware developments from most of modern funds and investors.

In the era of crypto-madness and software hyper-bubble, the complexity and risks of hardware – feared capitals even with huge potential multiplicators.

So, an issues with funding is only and the most challenge for any deep-tech hardware startup as Voxtellar.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

Our business is B2B and B2G with rather narrow customers list. We want StarLink, OneWeb, Amazon’s Kuiper and other telecom constellation operators to start collaborating with us and use our telecom terminals.

We currently contact them exactly for initiating this collaboration.
