Marwin: Simple App for Cooking Grocery Shopping

Mycoplan is a simple app for cooking grocery shopping. We provide various recipes and also a market place for groceries or any kitchen needs. With Mycoplan we help people to get inspiration and tutorial to cook new recipes, we also encourage any SME, even farmers/fishermen to sell their product through online channel directly to the customers.
We also hope in the future Mycoplan could be an Indonesia’s Asian Food Channel.

Tell us about yourself?

I graduated with major of advertising. I’m also an ex-banker in one of the largest private bank in Indonesia, Bank Central Asia. I always have interest for marketing and business development, that’s why my working journey always in marketing & business development field no matter in what kind of industry i work in.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

never stop, never give up, you know you can! you may sometimes have doubt, but have faith to God and to yourself, work hard and let God do the rest.

What problem does your business solve?

We saw in Indonesia, there are so many farmers, fishermen or any seller in the remote area, they hope they could sell their product directly to the customers, get more coverage. Hopefully with Mycoplan, we could encourage and enable them to sell their product by online in this digital era across the country, nationwide.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

you could cook with many recipes and you could also do the grocery shopping, all in one simple app. We could help all the SME’s selling their product nationwide through the online channel.

What is your magic sauce?

Simple app, for cooking and grocery shopping, you dont need to have any other app. We are super app with focused field.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

We could be an superapp for any cooking & kitchen needs, even F&B, we could be an Indonesia’s Asian Food Channel.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

penetration to the market, educate the sellers to join Mycoplan, the benefit to join online sales channel in this digital era.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?

We want all the females who love to cook or just want to learn to cook to join our app, and they could easily shop the ingredients through the app as well. We also want all the SME or any grocery / kitchen needs / F&B sellers to join us for selling their products in Mycoplan.
