Tell us about yourself?

Dr. Nishant Kashyap a member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, USA) has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from India and Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, McMaster University, Canada.

His primary research interests include power electronics, control systems and machine learning applications to electrical engineering. He is a staunch supporter of environment friendly technological solutions for future generations which motivated him to be one of the founders of the startup IRDDAC (Industrial research design development and consultancy).

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Never give up good things take time and require dedication and discipline

Social entrepreneurship for sensing wild fires and helping agriculture sectors

Helping others and making technology both affordable and environment friendly so that future generations have a better life

helping a social cause requires courage to face regular failures but still a desire to be successful

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Growth and into more applications and area with increased product development. This requires step by step short goals.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

Ensuring investors. Also, keeping the team motivated to do impossible tasks
